Hello! My name is Shantel Krajci and I am a passionate video specialist living in Edmonton, Alberta. I recently graduated from NAIT's Digital Media Design program where I majored in video production. The program broadened my skills for creating multimedia from pre-production all the way to burning the finished product onto a DVD and streaming it online.
I have been trained to use a HVX200 camera on various assignments and shoots. I’ve gained proficient knowledge on how to use the HVX technically as well as how to set up high-quality, useable shots.
As well as the technical aspect of video production, I’ve also had training within all production stages of creating a film. I have line-produced on various shoots including on a short film called “One Message and Counting” and a Big Rock Beer commercial. My skills have made me organized and able to lead a team into a successful filming experience.

Line Producer
Thirty second beer commercial for Big Rock 2009 competition.
On this assignment I handled all the paper work, including schedules, location and talent forms, all the variations of the script, the storyboards, as well as the script breakdown. I made sure everything was running smoothly prior to the shoot and all crew reported to me.

Thirty second beer commercial for Big Rock 2009 competition. My job on this set was to make sure everyone got to the location on time, that the crew was set up and ready to go on schedule. I created the daily shooting schedule and made sure we were following it. At the end of the day I typed up a report saying what we did and if we were on time, this went to the Line Producer who would then file it.
Line Producer
Short film written by another student. Again, I took on the role as line producer. My job was very much the same as on Satisfying Beer, just at a larger scale. I had more paper work, more talent to keep track of, and more than one shoot day.
Camera "A"
Our class worked with Snow Seekers on their documentary. I was in control on the main camera, and mostly shot clips of their protagonist, Sunny, skiing.
